One last trip to Silverton

Alpen Rose RV Resort, Durango Colorado   H71  L35

Sunday Judy and I headed up into the high country.  We are rapidly reaching the end of our time here and wanted to go view the fall foliage. The colors were brilliant throughout our drive up to the 10,350 feet elevation of Silverton.  The mountains have already received the first snowfall of the season.  Judy and I had a great time.

Below are a few pictures.

Judy and I are down to our last 10 days so we will be working on getting ready to head south.

That is all for now.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. It's been a very neat summer for you. Too early to say you'll be back, but sure great to have different parks to work so you can explore. We LOVED that area and would live there if it was as warm as Florida. Stay in touch.

  2. Glad you were able to make it back up there once more and enjoy the gorgeous colors! We just left there and are back in Durango for a few days with some friends that just came up. We'll be on the train ride tomorrow and then leave Saturday. We have so loved our time in Colorado. Every minute of it. Just so beautiful and this mountain girl was in Heaven! When are where are you off to? We'll head to NM for a couple weeks Oct 1, then a couple weeks in AZ with in-laws then CA with family until Jan.
